this is actually a good idea. i remember about one year ago, there was this jp demo called angelique or something. nobody knew what it was about and there was a thread about it. one of the funniest threads ever, but off-topic all the way though, i'm sure phinal still knows that one. could've been avoided by this idea.

Why would we need a review for the demo, if it's not the full game. And the real thing would come out in a few months anyway?

ok, lets suppose its a bad idea, how does it affect the people that think its a bad idea?

For newer games this is good. But If the demo has a prequel [game] (e.g. PSP2) then just search the prequel up on YouTube to get the jist of things.

Quote pc users can look up stuff on youtube. psp users can't. we hav to use pspube and it'd be easier just going to one site than going pspube, dl a video, then going back and dl the demo. @chaos the review doesn't have to be long. it could just be a short summary of it. |

phinal will most likely decline this idea though. he probably doesn't want to download every demo and write a review or proofread everyone's short review that comes in. as you have noticed, phinal is not always on, indicating he's not fully dedicated to this site.

i always eat the sample, it tastes great, but never buy the food. i might read the review, think its a great game but not download the demo.

its been asked for before and we're not here to review demos ... they are free they are meant to be played and then people decide for themselves if the game is good or not.
reviews will only be used for products that one must pay for prior to playing and its only meant to assist in the purchaser's quest for getting some quality game time with their PSP or PS3 |
